What to expect in your first month.
Make sure to arrive 5-minutes before the class starts, so we can show you around and introduce you. No matter which class you attend, we’re sure that the nerves you had when you walked in will quickly disappear, and you’ll walk out feeling more confident & glad you showed up for yourself.
Your first class
You’ll be able to do moves that you found challenging, without thinking about them so much. Your technique will have already improved, and you’ll start remembering the steps. You’ll also be addicted to the positive vibes in the class, and actually look forward to working out.

Our Classes
Technique & Choreography
-
In our Technique & Choreography class you’ll learn the fundamentals of Jazz technique, including different kicks, turns and jumps and combinations, based on your level.
You’ll also learn choreography so you can put together all the skills you've learnt, and bring out your inner Jazz dancer.
-
Water
If you have jazz shoes, please wear them. Otherwise you can complete the class barefoot - socks are recommended to have on-hand if needed.
-
Technique-focused but chill. This class is your foundation for solid technique and open to all levels.
Dance Cardio
-
No one takes themselves too seriously in this class, so if you’re worried about how you’ll look you can (kindly) let that go.
We’ll work up a sweat quickly, but you’ll have a smile on your face the whole class, so it won’t feel like a workout. All of the tracks are easy to follow and we update them often so that your body is challenged and your mind isn’t bored!
Our cardio classes are moderate-high intensity, so whilst you may be short on breath, you’ll be full of good vibes.

FAQs
-
Our Technique & Choreography class is open to all levels, but is mainly beginner-focused. We’ll break down each step and combination slowly, before you try it, with progressions as you advance. We also choreograph all of our routines with beginners in mind, so you don’t need to have any experience before you walk in.
Our Cardio class tracks are made to be simple and we repeat the same moves throughout the track, so you can pick it up. All you have to do is show up and follow along!

That’s a great reason to join us! There’s nothing worse than forcing yourself to do workouts that you hate, not sticking with them, and feeling like you’ve failed because you fell off the bandwagon. Our classes are moderate to high intensity, however, you’re welcome to dial that back and work to an intensity that’s comfortable for you.
Important: If you have any health concerns, injuries, haven't exercised regularly, are pregnant, or have recently given birth, we request that you have clearance from your doctor before attending our classes. Our classes are moderate to high intensity. If you need lower-impact options, let us know and we can recommend some classes.
-
Most people come to their first class alone! We'll introduce you to other people in your class, so you won’t feel alone after you walk in. Our community is incredible, and there’s nothing like bonding over a difficult sweat sesh!
-
We offer different classes, so you can find what you like. Our members find Cardio to be a fun workout where you can work up a sweat, and Technique & Choreography to be helpful in developing their technique, skills, and learning routines. If it’s not for you at least you tried something new and got a great workout!
